The use of techniques to size and implement terraces are fundamental to help in the control of erosive processes. Thus, this work aimed to perform the dimensioning and implementation of agricultural terraces, analyzing the situations: the construction of terraces in level and terraces in gradient with the support of the software Terraço 4.1. The input data of the software includes: rainfall, drainage channel, terrain information, soil properties. It was verified that it is necessary to implement ten terraces in level or terraces gradient. For the implementation of gradient terraces, a drainage channel was designed in a triangular format, based on the volume of terraces surface runoff estimated. The use of the software proved to be a very helpful tool in planning agricultural systems.
