The purpose of this study is to understand the main factors influencing the additionalpurchase of home loan life insurance at the time of home loan processing withTaiwan's banks. We used Taiwanese banks 417 customers who applied for housingguarantee loans from between 2014-2018. The chi-square test shows that genderand occupation significantly influence the purchase of home loan life insurance.The logistic regression analysis indicates that occupation significantly influencesthe purchase of home loan life insurance. This study may provide a basis for bankingpractitioners to develop future customers in the insurance industry.
