The transformations and reinterpretations of stylistic trends in industrial design in the 20th – early 21st century are examined with focus on their varieties within the same trend and changes in their characteristic features and lifecycle in different periods. The repeatability and transformation of trends are analyzed and the specifics of using a trend depending on its current relevance are considered. The main goal is to find regularity between periods and the character of the same stylistic trends.
