The article discusses the principles of logo (verbal trademark) design based on the figurative characteristics and emotional component of the word using student works as an example. The importance of working not only with the form but also with the content of the logo is highlighted, and the application of similar principles in corporate identity development to create a unique graphic image is addressed in the context of development of professional graphic design skills in students.
