Declassified Archives of the Auction House “Adolf Weinmüller”

The focus of the article is given to the role and place of the auction house “Adolf Weinmüller” in Nazi art trade. Found that this famous art auction house in Munich laid background Modern Art in Munich and the auction house “Neumeister”. The owner of the auction house – “Neumeister” K. Stoll encouraged researching the history of Nazism by studying the case of Adolf Weinmüller’s archival documents. Emphasized that opening access to private archives of the auction house “Neumeister” – successor house of “Adolf Weinmüller”, which was not only to cause a breakthrough in solving crimes of the National Socialists but an important step in overcoming the consequences of totalitarianism in Germany.
