В статье проводится детальный анализ становления и развития института приготовления к преступлению в России. Автор приходит к выводу, что развитие законодательства о приготовлении к преступлению охватывает следующие пять основных этапов (периодов): 1) X–XVIII вв.; 2) 1845–1921 гг.; 3) 1922–1959 гг.; 4) 1960–1995 гг.; 5) 1996 г. – настоящее время. The author has carried out a detailed analysis of the formation and development of the domestic institution of preparation for a crime. Based on the results of the analysis it was concluded that the development of legislation on preparation for a crime is inextricably linked with the following five main stages (periods): 1) X–XVIII centuries; 2) 1845–1921; 3) 1922– 1959; 4) 1960–1995; 5) 1996 – up to the present
