В статье рассмотрены способы сокрытия мошенничества, совершенного осужденными с территории исправительных учреждений ФСИН России, как элемент криминалистической характеристики данной группы преступлений. Проанализированы такие способы, как утаивание, уничтожение, маскировка, фальсификация, раскрыто их содержание, приведены примеры из практики расследования. Перечислены факторы, определяющие особенности деятельности по сокрытию: личность преступника и очевидцев, специфика обстановки и способ совершения мошенничества. Определено теоретическое значение данных сведений для развития методики расследования мошенничеств, а также прикладное в виде разработки практических рекомендаций по выявлению, противодействию и расследованию преступных действий The article discusses ways of fraud concealment committed by convicts from the territory of correctional institutions of the Federal Penal Service of Russia as an element of the forensic characteristics of this group of crimes. Methods such as concealment, destruction, camouflage, falsification are analyzed, their content is disclosed, examples from the practice of investigation are given. The factors that determine the features of the concealment activity are listed: the identity of the perpetrator and eyewitnesses, the specifics of the situation and the method of committing fraud. The theoretical value of this information for the development of methods for investigating fraud has been determined as well as applied in the form of developing practical recommendations for identifying, countering and investigating criminal acts
