When we find great care at all levels in water security, an important question comes to mind: Does the Sunnah care about rooting water security issues and vocabulary? Does it have a clear picture of conservation of water resources? Does it have a revealing statement for ways to develop water? This research came to clarify the prophetic hadiths related to water security in terms of preserving water resources, and the most prominent ways to develop and increase them. One of the results of the research: that water security in fact revolves around ways to sustain water wealth, and that it is closely related to other types of security such as food security, and it is one of the pillars of the development and prosperity of countries, and its absence is one of the challenges for human societies. It also resulted in the Prophetic Sunnah invoking the status and importance of water, by making it the first means of purification, preventing its monopoly, indicating that it is one of the blessings that a person will be asked about on the Day of Resurrection, and its call to conserve water through measures that call for the optimal use of water, and distance from polluting water. And everything that wastes and spoils water, as well as ways to enhance, develop and provide water wealth through keenness on acts of obedience and water alms, encouragement of digging wells and conducting streams, in addition to rain and thankfulness for the blessing of water.
