O Concílio Vaticano II e a Bem-aventurada Virgem Maria: a mariologia no capítulo VIII da Lumen Gentium e sua incidência nos textos das Conferências do Episcopado Latino-Americano

Os 300 anos do encontro da Imagem de Nossa Senhora Aparecidae os 100 anos da aparição de Nossa Senhora do Rosário de Fátima podem setransformar num convite de reflexão sobre a identidade da Igreja. O ConcílioVaticano II, na Constituição Dogmática Lumen Gentium, traçou os horizontespara o posterior desenvolvimento da mariologia associada ao mistério da Igreja.Na América Latina, por meio de suas conferências o Conselho Episcopal Latino--americano tem atualizado, à luz do Concílio, sua missão evangelizadora. The Second VaticanCouncil in the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium drew the horizonsfor the later development of the mariology associated with the Mystery of theChurch. In Latin America, the Conference of Latin American Bishops, in the lightof the Council, has updated its evangelizing mission.
