Resumo: A partir do tema (Fraternidade: biomas brasileiros e defesa da vida) edo lema (Cultivar e guardar a criação – Gn 2,15) da Campanha da Fraternidade2017, o texto propõe uma reflexão sobre a misericórdia divina com a criação.Depois de breves observações sobre a prática da misericórdia entre Deus, oser humano e a natureza, o artigo se detém na comprovação da prática divinada misericórdia com a criação, atestada nas Escrituras judaico-cristãs. Concluicom a sugestão do empenho por motivarmos uma cultura da misericórdia coma criação.Palavras-chave: Misericórdia. Criação. Biomas brasileiros.Abstract: Starting with the theme (Fraternity: Brazilian biomes and the defenseof life) and the motto (Work and take care of the creation – Gn 2,15) from the2017 Fraternity Campaign, this text proposes a reflection about divine mercytowards the creation. After short observations regarding the practice of mercyamong God, the human being and nature, the text focuses on proving the divinepractice of mercy on the creation, verified at the Scripture. The article concludeswith a suggestion for us to motivate the culture of mercy towards the creation.Keywords: Mercy. Creation. Brazilian biomes.
