Cultivar e guardar – Servir e vigiar: A inspiração bíblica para a Campanha da Fraternidade de 2017

Resumo: A CF 2017 tem como tema “Fraternidade: Biomas brasileiros e defesada Vida”. O lema escolhido para a Campanha é tirado de Gn 2,15: Cultivar aguardar a Criação. O artigo é uma reflexão sobre este lema, buscando dar umafundamentação bíblica à proposta da Campanha. O autor procede por três passos:1º, descreve a crise na qual surgiu o texto, crise que levou o povo a repensartudo; 2º, essa crise levou a uma nova leitura da natureza, na busca de superaro desastre; 3º o contexto original do lema, no livro do Gênesis. Concluindo, oautor sugere que esse lema seja um alerta para todos nós, prevenindo contrao desastre total.Palavras-chave: Fraternidade. Campanha. Biomas. Defesa da vida. Fundamentaçãobíblica.Abstract: The 2017 Fraternity Campaign has as its theme: “the Brazilian biomesand the defense of Life”. The slogan chosen for the Campaign is taken fromGn 2.15: To cultivate and to care for the Creation. The paper reflects about theslogan, looking for a biblical argumentation to the proposal of the Campaign.The author proceeds in three steps: first, he describes the crisis in which thetext was born, leading the people to think all of it over again; second, this crisisbrought a new interpretation of nature, in the search of surmounting the disaster;third, the original context of the slogan, in the book of Genesis.
