A IGREJA COMO MISTÉRIO: PERSPECTIVAS ECUMÊNICAS DAS NOTAE ECCLESIAE

Resumo: Com base no conceito eclesiológico de mistério (mysterium), extraído do primeirocapítulo da Contituição Dogmática Lumen Gentium, desenvolveremos neste artigo a críticasobre a complexa natureza da Igreja enquanto intimamente relacionada à plenitude do Mistériode Cristo. Ressaltaremos assim a realidade dialética – histórico-escatológica – presentena Igreja, tendo em vista a tensão, por exemplo, constatável nas notas Una, Santa, Católicae Apostólica, que por um lado são sinais da concretude da Igreja, e por outro, mostram-seainda como devir escatológico. Neste sentido, discorremos em perspectiva ecumênicasobre as notae ecclesiae que são sinais da Igreja de Cristo. Consequentemente, falaremossobre o mistério da comunhão trinitária como referencial de Unidade e a Santidadeenquanto participação de todos os batizados no único Corpo de Cristo. Desenvolve-se, emseguida, a reflexão sobre a Catolicidade que se exprime como plenitude da graça na Igrejae a Apostolicidade qual decorrência da herança da fé apostólica e a atual missão de cadacristão. Em perfeita sintonia com o decreto Unitatis Redintegratio, afirma o Papa Francisco,“o ecumenismo é um bem para família humana”, logo, conclui-se que tal esforço de buscarmeios que aproximam e promovem o encontro entre cristãos favorece a unidade almejadapelo próprio Senhor (cf. Jo 17,21). Nesta busca a Igreja realiza-se como sinal salvífico quecomeça na história, sinalizando o Mistério de Cristo.Palavras-chave: Igreja-mistério. Notae Ecclesiae. Ecumenismo.Abstract: Departing from the ecclesiological concept of mystery (mysterium), as we find itin the first chapter of the Dogmatic Constitution Lumen Gentium, the paper develops a criticabout the complex nature of the Church while intimately related to the fullness of the Mysteryof Christ. The author stresses the dialectic reality – historic-eschatological – present in theChurch, conscious of the tension, for instance, verifiable in the notes One, Holy, Catholic andApostolic, which from one side are signals of the concreteness of the Church and, from theother side, are shown as an eschatological future. In this sense, the Notae Ecclesiae, whichare signs of the Church of Christ, are studied in an ecumenical perspective. Accordingly,the mystery of the trinitarian communion is spoken of as a referent of Unity and Sanctityas the participation of all of the baptized in the only Body of Christ. Then is developed thereflection about Catholicity, which is expressed as the fullness of grace in the Church, andabout Apostolicity, as resulting from the heritage of the apostolic faith and the present missionof every Christian. In perfect syntony with the decree Unitatis Redintegratio, pope Francisasserts: “Ecumenism is a good for the human family”. Consequently, such an effort to lookfor means that approach and promote the encounter among Christian people favors theunity desired by the Lord himself (John 17,21). In this quest, the Church becomes really thesaving sign that begins in history, signalizing the Mystery of Christ.Key-words: Church-mystery. Notae Ecclesiae. Ecumenism.
