Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) technology outsources the cloud services at the edge of the mobile network for delay-sensitive, bandwidth hungry applications. The technology addresses the requirements of mission critical communications for ultralow latency and high reliability in a sustainable and affordable way. The paper studies MEC capabilities to handle mission critical calls exposing the network functions for traffic gating and rerouting. Following the RESTful approach to define MEC services, information flows, interfaces with data model and data format are presented. The injected latency by the service is theoretically evaluated.1
