The aim of this paper is to use of the Monte Carlo Method to try to reproduce an electrical discharge in the oxygen gas; by following the random histories of free electrons and using the sampling laws, we can determine some electrical discharge parameters. Additionally we use the simulation results to verify the electrical breakdown criteria under an homogenous field and for small distances; and the obtained results are compared with those of the literature.
