The implementation of the Project BasedLearning (PBL) in education facing a number of problems anddifficulties, prompting teachers to avoid its use and rely ontraditional methods of training. The article examines the role ofICT in PBL, the benefits of PBL and its main problems in itsimplementation. A conceptual model of a PBL platform ineducation is proposed to guide and assist the teacher inplanning, implementing and presenting project results. The roleof the teacher is leading and involves preparing, presenting aproject, motivating students, managing the process throughcontinuous communication and facilitating.
