Continuous casting is a solidification process, in which the knowledge about its variables is very important in order\udto produce steel with good quality. The tundish distributes the steel coming from the ladle to the metallurgical mold as\udthe traditional function, besides, it also has some other important functions. Because of its importance in the process, this\udwork aim to carry out studies on the steel flow in the tundish with two different configurations, with and without inert\udgas injection.
