The concentration of dissolved molybdenum has been determined in several profiles from the Northeast Pacific Ocean. The salinity‐normalized concentration is essentially constant in all open‐ocean samples (107 nM, 1 σ = 2.5 nM). The dissolved distribution is not significantly affected by biological cycling.
