A calcium‐sensitive electrode is used to detect the end point in determining calcium in seawater by complexometric titration with EGTA. The values of calcium concentration of standard seawater thus determined agree well with published data. The method is applied to a study of the calcium distributiun of a station in the Mediterranean Sea at various depths.
