The author describes the characteristics of educational practices through his experiences of learning and education following a brain injury. The consequences of brain injury drastically change the life of the patient and his family. After a brain injury, people need to re-learn various skills. The process of learning is linked to occupational therapy speech therapy, physiotherapy, and psychotherapy. Learning and education, which promote the development of new knowledge, skills, and identity, have to be adjusted individually, as each injury is reflected in a different way. The second part of the article demonstrates some of the possibilities for informal education in different organisations
