Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) is an autoimmune syndrome leading to demyelination and inflammation of the peripheral and cranial\udnerves. Miller-Fisher syndrome (MFS) is a clinical entity which has an acute onset of ataxia, external ophthalmoplegia, areflexia and is\uda rare variant of GBS. MFS often appears after a viral infection and is a benign disease that improves with intravenous immunoglobulin\udtreatment in 8-10 weeks. In our case report, we presented a 16-year-old patient with ophthalmoplegia, ataxia, and areflexia that was\uddiagnosed clinically as MFS and showed improvement with intravenous immunoglobulin treatment.
