Organ transplantation has evolved over the years. Heart transplantation is a mainstay of therapy for heart failure patients. Cardiac\udtransplantation requires immunosuppressive agents in large quantities and at high doses. Complications of this immunosuppression are\udcommon. It has been suggested that ocular examination should be routine following transplantation in order to identify complications\udbefore sight-threatening lesions occur. Ocular complications may affect quality of life after recovery, so as survival improves, it becomes\udincreasingly important to identify and aggressively treat them. Patients undergoing organ transplantation should receive careful and\udregular ocular examinations. In this study, we reviewed the existing literature on major ocular complications after heart transplantation.\ud(Turk J Ophthalmol 2015; 45: 115-118
