In order to achieve successful results with minimal risk of complications in cosmetic surgical procedures, detailed facial topographical anatomic features should be well-known. This review presents facial topographical anatomy including musculature, nerve and vascular supply, their location and branching system. Additionaly basic anatomical principals and keypoints are mentioned for achieving optimal and safe cosmetic results. İdeal cosmetic procedures and ideal results requires knowledge of basic facial anatomy together with evaluation of personal variations in every patient
