The role of estrogen/progesterone receptors (ER/PR) is well-established with respect to therapy and prognosis of breast carcinoma. However, the role of androgen receptor (AR) expression is unclear in the Indian context. The objective is to study the following: (a) Expression of AR in resection specimens of ductal carcinomas, (b) Relationship of AR with clinicopathologic features, ER, PR, and Her-2 status.
