Atopic dermatitis is a dermatological disease characterized by chronic inflammation. In recent years, systemic inflammation is also mentioned along with local inflammation for its pathogenesis. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and mean platelet volume (MPV) are nonspecific indicators of systemic inflammation, and they were shown to be associated with the disease and its prognosis in allergic or nonallergic diseases.
