To date, different methods have been invented to risk-stratify critically ill patients, however, there is a paucity of information regarding assessing the severity of poisonings. This study was designed to determine the comparative efficacy of Simplified Acute Physiology Score-II (SAPS-II) and Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation-II (APACHE-II)score with cardiac troponin I (cTnI) in predicting severe intoxication outcomes.
