Osteoid osteoma is a rare benign osteoblastic tumor with distinctive histologic characteristics consisting of a central core of vascular osteoid tissue i.e., nidus surrounded by a peripheral zone of sclerotic bone. Most of cases of Osteoid osteoma are reported in long bones of body, however, their occurrence in jaw bones is extremely rare.
