Open AccessA critical evaluation of the views of science ascribed to within Industrial Psychology. The aim of the article is to evaluate critically the view(s) of science subscribed to within Industrial Psychology. The article indicates: firstly, the view(s) of science adhered to in Industrial Psychology; next, the current "standard" view of science; and lastly, criticism levelled against the current standard view of science, as it impinges on Industrial Psychology.
Opsomming Die doel van die artikel is om die wetenskapsbeskouing(s) gehuldig binne die Bedryfsielkunde krities te waardeer. Die artikel toon die volgende: eerstens, waiter wetenskapsbeskouings binne die Bedryfsielkunde onderskryfword; tweedens, wat die huidige standaard wetenskapsbeskouing binne die wetenskap is; en derdens, kritiek op die heersende standaard wetenskapsbeskouing, soos wat dit die Bedryfsielkunde se wetenskapsbeskouings) raak.
