We report on the state of art, the main experimental achievements and the perspectives of the TrapRad/Francium collaboration. The ad hoc apparatus allows for production and trapping of radioactive Francium isotopes. This research has a final goal related to Atomic Parity Non Conservation measurements and test of fundamental and Nuclear Physics by the high precision methods typical of laser spectroscopy
