At what period did immaterial heritage become an issue for the IPHAN? It is the most relevant issue in current essay which, from the thematic point of view, investigates the work of the Paneleiras de Goiabeiras, or rather, a team of artisans in Vitória ES Brazil, who manufacture earthenware pans without the use of lathes or kilns. The artifacts are manufactured without molds and they are fired on bonfires. Manufacture was registered in 2002 in the IPHAN's Book of Knowledge. Current essay discusses the Institute's heritage policies on immaterial goods from the above-mentioned case study
