O trabalho empreendido tem como objetivo apresentar uma análise comparativa de alguns estudos sobre leitura provenientes da teoria literária e da linguística. Enfatizam-se a estética da recepção e, mais especificamente, a teoria do efeito propugnada por Wolfgang Iser, a partir da segunda metade do século XX.The research intends to present a comparative analysis of a few studies concerning reading, derived from literary theory and linguistics.
