Modernidade e declínio da experiência em Walter Benjamin

As categorias erfahrung (experiência autêntica) e erlebnis (experiência inautêntica) são fundamentais na abordagem da Modernidade realizada por Walter Benjamin, centrada na análise dos modos de perceber e sentir o mundo, que se alteraram a partir de transformações sociais profundas – urbanização, mercantilização, difusão da técnica, tecnologização crescente da palavra.
