Por meio da leitura crítica de A Morte do Autor e Da Obra ao Texto, ambos de Roland Barthes, pretende-se desenvolver um estudo da construção das noções de autor, leitor e texto. Tal construção, baseada em dicotomias, atribui importantes funções sociais e políticas ao leitor, ao texto e ao autor. A própria noção de texto de Barthes coloca, contudo, em xeque essas dicotomias e suas implicações, revelando as ambivalências de sua argumentaçãoBased on a critical reading of The Death of the Author (A Morte do Autor) and From Work to Text (Da Obra ao Texto) , both by Roland Barthes, a study on the construction of the notions: author, reader and text is developed. Such construction, based on dichotomies, gives the text, the author and the reader important social and political functions. However, Barthes’ notion of the text itself checkmates these dichotomies and their implications, showing the ambivalence about his argumen
