Stakes and challenge in the religious texts translation : prolegomena to study of choices for identity in Transylvania

Cette étude esquisse les lignes générales d’un projet de recherches qui examine la dynamique des relations entre pouvoir politique, religion et les enjeux identitaires des roumains de Transylvanie depuis la fin du XVIIe siècle jusqu’à présent, à travers une investigation de l’activité de traduction et publication de textes religieux. Nous abordons d’un point de vue théorique quelques-uns des défis et enjeux de la traduction de textes religieux, pour nous concentrer ensuite sur la question de l’idéologie en traduction. La deuxième partie trace les repères historiques qui serviront de base de départ pour comprendre le contexte plus large dans lequel a évolué l’activité de traduction en Transylvanie, notamment le problème du choix identitaire. This study sketchs the general lines of a project of a research which examines the dynamics of the relations between political power, religion and the identical stakes in the Rumanian of Transylvania since the end of the XVIIth century until now, through an investigation of the activity of translation and publication of religious texts. We approach from a theoretical point of view some of the challenges and the stakes in the translation of religious texts, to concentrate us on the question of the ideology in translation. The second part draws the historic marks wich will serve as starting point to understand the wider context in wich evolved the activity of translation in Transylvania, in particular the problem of the identical choice
