Cette contribution examine l’importance des fonctions littorales et urbaines dans la structuration socio-spatiale de La Rochelle et de l’Île de Ré (France). L’analyse des dynamiques foncières et immobilières permet de définir le rôle des résidences secondaires dans cette région touristique.
