Nuevo acercamiento a la variación lingüistica en el <em>Tesoro</em> de Covarrubias

This paper focuses on the analysis of linguistic variation of adverbs in the Tesoro de la lengua castellana o española of Sebastián de Covarrubias in 1611. The objective is to understand the variational differences that the author could distinguish and the meaning they had for him. The methodology has been contrasting Covarrubias’s linguistic information with other contemporary authors and grammarians, as well as comparing with the use of these adverbs in texts of the period. It has been able to make a word-for-word assessment of these variational labels
