In this article, I study a manuscript that contains a vernacular text by Bernardo de Brihuega previously unknown which narrates the lives of the Virgin Mary and Christ. After identifying this work and describing its principal characteristics, I examine its relation with the Sixth Part of the General estoria, showing that the work by Bernardo de Brihuega was used as the basic source for the sacred history of this section
