Algunos datos para la historia del <i>recién</i> rioplatense

It is well known that recién adverb has got a peculiar use in rioplatense Spanish, as it shows an increase of its morphosintactic possibilities in comparison with these of Peninsular Spanish: this form is not only used with participles, but also in an independent way with temporal meaning. In this paper, we aim to analyse these new ways of employ, and also when and why they are produced: according to our data, we have to say that these new possibilities were already present in 19th.
