Archaeology of Architecture and Archaeology of houses in Early Medieval Europe

This paper aims to introduce the «Archaeology of Architecture\udand Household Archaeology in Early Medieval Europe» dossier,\udthe object of which is to explore the different approaches,\udmethodologies and themes analysed in the study of early\udmedieval architecture in western Europe. More specifically, in\udwhat follows, analysis is undertaken of the contexts which explain\udthe recent development of studies on this topic, as well as the\udmain contributions of the seven papers which form this dossier.\udIn addition, the main historical and archaeological problems\udraised by the analysis of this material record are also discussed
