La naturaleza del «conocimiento objetivo»: algunas reflexiones en torno a la ciencia y su contexto social

In this article, the authors expose how the historic context diachronically marks each new conception of what is “objective knowledge” and, consequently, of what is “science”. With this aim, the authors do several reflections on the epistemic value of the objective knowledge as the knowledge of reality that is the most worthy of confidence in a given historic moment, on the inseparable character of the the science-scientists binomium, the epistemological problem of establishing mechanisms of “objetivization” of the capacity of the sciences to generate knowledge, and the relationship between science and ideology. En este artículo, los autores exponen cómo el contexto histórico marca diacrónicamente cada nueva concepción de lo que es “conocimiento objetivo” y, en consecuencia, de lo que es “ciencia”. Para ello, los autores hacen una serie de reflexiones sobre el valor epistémico del conocimiento objetivo en tanto que conocimiento de la realidad más digno de confianza en un momento histórico dado, sobre el carácter indisociable del binomio ciencia-científicos, el problema epistemológico de establecer mecanismos de “objetivización” de la capacidad de las ciencias para generar conocimiento y la relación existente entre ciencia e ideología
