Francisco Elías Vallejo was a prominent sculptor who worked in the first half of the XIXth century. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and developed a long career as a Court Sculptor and as a teacher at the Royal Academy, where he was Director of Sculpture and, twice, General Director. In this paper, information from publications about him is recollected and completed with data extracted from archives and historic press. The objective is to complete the lack of information about his life, for instance, his education in his village before his trip to Madrid. Furthermore, information about his artist activity is ranked and summarized to make a list of their works as complete as possible, so that subsequent studies can base on it
