This article examines choronyms in the villages of Dolnje Mraševo and Gorenje Mraševo. They are presented in both standard and dialect form, and the origin and original meaning of the choronyms are also provided. The explanation deals with the common or proper noun that the choronym arose from. For inherited vocabulary, the Proto-Slavic reconstruction is also cited, and for borrowed vocabulary the foreign-language source. For some choronyms, popular explanations of their origins provided by field informants are also given.
