The aim of this study was to compare serum and synovial fluid levels of matrix metalloproteinase-13 (MMP-13) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) in 2 stages of osteoarthritis, and investigate their correlation with Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) scores.
