Kao što je poznato, Svjetska banka pažljivo prati, predlaže i utječe na reforme sustava socijalne sigurnosti u Hrvatskoj, a posebno mirovinskoga i zdravstvenoga. U našem smo časopisu uobičajili objavljivati izvještaje Svjetske banke relevantne za razvoj socijalne politike u nas. Ovaj put objavljujemo poglavlje o mirovinskoj reformi u Hrvatskoj iz dokumenta Odjela za Albaniju i Hrvatsku (Regija Europe i Srednje Azije) u Svjetskoj banci, priređenog u veljači ove godine pod naslovom “Program mjera za gospodarsku reformu i rast”. Pretpostavljamo da će čitalac u ovom prilogu naći mnogo zanimljivih informacija i ocjena o našem mirovinskom sustavu, njegovim problemima i pravcima mirovinske reforme koje zagovara Svjetska banka.As already known, the World Bank carefully monitors, suggests and influences reforms of the social security system in Croatia, and particularly reforms concerning pensions and health care. Our journal usually publishes World Bank reports that are relevant to the development of social policy in our country. However, this time there is a chapter on pension reform in Croatia taken from the document of the Department for Albania and Croatia (European and Central Asia Region) of the World Bank, issued in February this year under he title “Programme of Measures for Economic Reform and Growth”. We believe that the reader will find in this paper a large amount of interesting information and assessments of our pension system, its problems and the development of pension reform which is supported by the World Bank
