This research was carried out to determine the macroben\udthic crustacean species associated with mixed eelgrass\udbeds (\udZostera marina\udand\udZ. noltii\ud) occurring in the upper-infralittoral zone of the Sinop peninsula coast (the southern Black\udSea, Turkey) and their bioecolological features. From June 2004 to April 2005, investigations were seasonally performed at\udthe depths of 2-4 m at 6 different stations chosen on the Sinop peninsula coast. As a result of the study, a total of 7057\udindividuals belonging to 55 species and 6 orders were identified. Amphipoda was the dominant group in terms of number\udof species (63% of the total of orders) and number of individuals (83% of the total individuals). Among these,\udAmpelisca\udpseudospinimana\udhad the highest dominance value with up to 1902 specimens (approximately 27%). However, Isopoda\udaccounted for 47% of the total biomass. The species that have the highest individual biomass was isopod,\udIdotea balthica\ud(35% of total biomass). According to a frequency index, 26 species were designated as constant, 13 species as common and\ud16 species as rare. The highest number of species (max. 26 species m\ud-2\ud) and number of individuals (2069 ind.m\ud-2\ud) were\udfound at station 4 in fall and summer and the lowest at station 1 in winter (min. 6 species m\ud-2\ud; 8 ind. m\ud-2\ud).Bu ara?t?rma Sinop Yar?madas? k?y?lar?n?n (G?ney Karadeniz,\udT?rkiye) ?st infralittoral zonunda yay?l?? g?steren\udkar???k deniz ?ay?r? yataklar?n?n (\udZostera marina\ud,\udZ. noltii\ud) makrobentik krustase t?rlerini ve biyoekolojik ?zelliklerini\udtespit etmek amac?yla y?r?t?lm??t?r. Ara?t?rmalar Haziran 2004-Nisan 2005 tarihleri aras?nda Sinop Yar?madas?\udk?y?lar?ndan se?ilen 6 farkl? istasyonda\ud2-4 m derinliklerde mevsimsel olarak ger?ekle?tirilmi?tir. Sonu? olarak, 6 ordoya\udait toplam 55 t?r ile bunlara ait 7057 birey tan?mlanm??t?r\ud. Amphipoda ordosu t?r (% 63) ve birey say?s? bak?m?ndan (%\ud83) en bask?n grup olup bunlardan 1902 bireyle (% 27)\udAmpelisca pseudospinimana\uden bask?n t?rleri olu?turmaktad?r.\udBununla birlikte, Isopoda toplam biyomas?n % 47?sini olu?tu\udrmaktad?r. 6 t?r.m\ud-2\ud; 8 birey.m\ud-2\ud) tespit edilmi?tir
