The article presents industrial company’s engineering activities in order to define that they stand out from other activities and engineers occupy an important role in product development process. Analysis of the data was carried out and it presented information about shaping the engineering activities, goals, objectives, responsibilities of engineers, their promoting methods, administrative efficiency and influence on the company’s economic results.At the end of the article we present ideas and schemes how to assess the activities of engineering and engineers from economic and social aspects.Article in Lithuania
