This paper is dedicated to problems connected with an anisotropic adaptation used for simulation of compressible flows with FVM solver. The adaptation is based on error indicator defined by 2D interpolation error. The comparison between isotropic and anisotropic adaptation is shown for typical test case of supersonic flow in a channel.
