Objective : This is a clinical report about the 77-years-old man patient with polymyositis treated by oriental medicine.\udMethods : The paitent was treated by acupuncture and herb medication. The improvement of the patient was judged by MRC scale and CPK, LDH.\udResults & Conclusions :\ud1. Patient's symptoms(paraplegia) rapidly improved.\ud2. The level of CPK, LDH and Potassium are recovered to the normal range.\ud3. Associated with respiratory symptoms are getting better
