The article analyzes the post-conflict state of the Syrian Arab Republic-both at the level of the national economy as a whole, and mainly in the construction sector. At the stage of post-conflict reconstruction of the construction industry, it is necessary to make greater use of both traditional approaches to its development and international practice. The study confirms that it is important for Syria to step up the creation of joint ventures in the industry, including, if possible, with foreign participation (Russia, Iran, etc.), strengthen state support for the industry, and form the basis for creating expert procedures for managing construction costs and public-private partnerships in construction.
