In the era of accelerating transformations and the coronavirus pandemic, to ensure the national food security, preserve the share of the rural population, increase the disposable resources of rural households and exports of agricultural products with simultaneous import substitution, systemic changes are required. For this purpose, it is necessary to renew all elements of the reproductive process in the agricultural industry (production, distribution, exchange and consumption) and develop a strategic trajectory for the agricultural industry. Whether this crisis will eliminate structural contradictions of the existing model of social reproduction depends on various factors determined by the government policy. The government should manage the reproduction processes in the agricultural industry. It can create a need for deep theoretical understanding and changes in the reproduction processes.
