Enterprise applications are complexarchitectures that assist leaders of organizations tomake tactical and strategic business decisions. Many ofthe studies in the literature review investigated thehistory of ERP systems, the future of enterpriseapplications, implementation success, ERPimplementations in small and medium environments,and managerial approaches during times oforganizational change. The purpose of this literaturereview was to analyze and synthesize previous studies asthey pertain to enterprise applications.
